Couples therapy at Mindful Comeback Therapy helps partners who keep having the same fight, feel disconnected, or are working through infidelity or separation. Rubina Gogna, Registered Psychotherapist, uses an attachment based approach to understand what is happening underneath the conflict, plus practical skills to change it. Sessions are virtual anywhere in Ontario, or in person at our Ajax office.

How couples therapy works
We start with an intake session to understand your relationship, what is working and what keeps getting stuck. Most couples have a pattern where one partner pursues and the other pulls away. We slow that cycle down so you can see what each of you is really reaching for underneath it.
From there, sessions combine deeper work on attachment and old wounds with practical tools for listening, repair after conflict and making decisions together. Sometimes we include an individual session for each partner.
Culture and family
Relationships do not exist in a vacuum. Family expectations, in laws and culture often shape conflict. Sessions are available in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
