A Passionate Therapist

Hi There!

Coming from a background where people don’t talk about Mental Health I made it a point in my journey to help others like myself and remove the stigma around Mental Health by providing hope and courage to speak up.

I always struggled at school, making new friends or maintaining relationships, overthinking what others were thinking about me but I never realized it was impacting my daily motivation, my mood and slowly started to lose hope in life. I observed changes in my personality, my view of the world and always asking the same question ‘What’s the point, nobody cares anyways”? I realized something was not right.

Then I chose to pursue psychology in high school and from there began my journey. I could relate to what the researchers had to say and I gained an understanding of how to help myself out. My interest increased and as life threw more curveballs, I had to find the right tools to cope with my daily anxiety, depression, lack of motivation and other ongoing struggles. This grew my curiosity and I decided I wanted to help others like myself when I grow up and here I am!

Our Journey and Joys!

I’m married to my best friend, and together we embarked on our adventure in 2011. Moving to Canada, we started from scratch, chasing our dreams and overcoming challenges along the way. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and love to share the positivity we’ve found. Our favorite moments are the simple ones: strolls through the neighborhood, cozy coffee dates, and enjoying a good movie together. Every day is a celebration of how far we’ve come and the love we continue to grow.

When I’m not guiding clients on their journeys to well-being, you can find me spending quality time with my two adorable French Bulldogs, Guts and Broly. Named after beloved anime characters, Guts (almost 2) and Broly (almost 1) fill my days with joy and laughter. In my free time, you’ll often find us exploring the neighborhood on walks, enjoying playtime, or simply relaxing at home. And when I’m not busy with my furry companions, I love unwinding by baking up some delicious treats or keeping my space cozy and clean. Come join me in celebrating the little joys in life!

As a laid-back therapist, I focus on creating a warm, welcoming space where my clients feel at ease. I believe in keeping things down-to-earth, often using humor to set a comfortable tone for our sessions. Rather than following rigid guidelines, I take a collaborative approach, ensuring that you feel supported and never dread coming to therapy. With a background in positive psychology, I strive to find optimism even in life’s toughest moments. I love practicing mindfulness and guiding my clients to live in the present moment, exploring endless possibilities together, and understanding the reasons behind their thoughts and feelings.
